Thank you to everyone who has emailed me recently to say that they have signed the parliamentary petition to ‘End the Cage Age’, calling for a ban on all caged farming.

WORST AFFECTED STATIONS TO BE COMPENSATED BY GOVIA

Govia Thameslink have announced that Arlesey, Sandy, Biggleswade and Bedford Station were among the worst affected by the May 2018 timetable change and will be allocated £80,000 each to provide tangible benefits for passengers.

General Licences for Bird Control

North East Bedfordshire MP Alistair Burt has offered his support to farmers who are calling on Natural England to overturn their decision to revoke general licence. These licences allow farmers and growers to control certain wild birds to protect livestock and crops.
