TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE IN NE BEDS

Thank you to those constituents who have contacted me recently about the welfare of farm animals and animal sentience.  I do understand the concerns that have been raised.

The events of the last few days have been quite remarkable, even by the new standards being set by this Parliament, and this issue:- Brexit.

Over the last 18 months or so I have been raising with the Treasury my constituents’ concerns about the Loan Charge.

So, the longest session in Parliamentary history since the end of the war - the English Civil war in the 1640s - closed earlier this week, unless the Supreme Court brings us back. It has been the most remarkable, ultimately depressing, and personally eventful that I have experienced.

Local businesses across the UK will receive tailored advice and support on preparing for Brexit on 31 October, as part of a series of nationwide events led by government.

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations has published guidance on how charities can make sure they are prepared for no-deal.

A1 Petition

I was pleased this week to personally hand the A1 petition to new Transport Secretary Grant Shapps MP before the five week Prorogation period began in Westminster.

There seems little respite from controversy surrounding Brexit.
