In September the Government introduced the Agriculture Bill, which has its Second Reading on 10 October. A number of constituents have been in touch ahead of the Second Reading, and I am grateful for the emails I have received.
Many of you will be aware that a debate took place on 12 September titled "Shale Gas Exploration: Planning Permission". I was unable to attend the debate but, during her speech, the Energy Minister said:
I have received a number of emails recently about the Department for Transport’s consultation on proposed new cycling offences and, as a keen cyclist myself, I appreciate the concerns that have been raised.
In view of the interest shown in the Brexit Survey I ran through July and the start of August, I have made it clear to constituents who have written to me that I do not favour a second referendum for the following reasons:
