Alistair is looking forward to attending the 2009 Bedfordshire County Show, at Old Warden Park near Biggleswade - set to be the biggest ever. The County show weekend is Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July, with three main arenas providing two days worth of displays, demonstrations, participation events, music and dramatic performance. Archery, shooting and falconry, mixed with Pony Club mounted games, donkey and dog shows, plus the chance for visitors to get involved in farm life, from milking cows to shearing sheep are all on offer. Everything from stuntman Flyin’ Ryan to carriage driving, plus the Armed Forces and a 60-tonne Challenger 2 battle tank. Alistair says: 'Live music, great food, and many attractions will all celebrate this great county of ours. We’ve proud of our County and Bedfordshire County Show will be the perfect way to see what we have to offer.” A special recession-busting pre-pay offer is available for tickets purchased by telephone in advance of the show. You can save 10% on any tickets purchased before Friday 10 July by calling 01767 627752.
